Tech City Content Counselor: Google recently threatened to shut down search services in Australia due to rules for paying for media content. Meanwhile, the process of turning this rule into law is also underway.

In such a situation, if Google leaves Australia, then what is the alternative solution? Australia is planning the plan.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison and his cabinet members have voted to give preference to Microsoft’s Bing search engine as an alternative to Google. However, the Australian Greens’ crucial political party has suggested exploring the possibility of creating its search engine or looking for alternative ways.

Google is angry with the proposed rule in Australia because the ‘Google News’ service publishes news from international and local media in different languages. If this rule of law is passed, the Australian government will have to pay Google much money.
